The device comes with a protective cover that activates the unit when opened using the simple sliding switch. The defibrillator pads are pre-connected and ready for immediate use. LED lights synchronize with voice instructions, and visual symbols guide the required steps. The adult/child mode switch allows for easy adjustment without needing to change the pads. The battery is a disposable, non-rechargeable LiMnO2 with a 2-year shelf life and a 5-year standby life.
