The EL-SMS-2G-VAC is a battery-operated temperature alert system that sends SMS notifications to designated mobile numbers when the monitored temperature surpasses set upper or lower thresholds. It comes with a thermistor placed in a glycol bottle, designed to accurately reflect the internal temperature of a vaccine rather than the surrounding fridge environment where vaccines are kept, along with a traceable calibration certificate.
Using the EasyLog SMS App available on Google Play and the App Store, the EL-SMS-2G-VAC can also dispatch periodic summary messages to verify its normal operation, detailing the minimum, maximum, and average temperatures recorded since the last summary.
The device requires a separately purchased microSIM card to connect to a 2G GSM network.
