3M™ Opticlude™ Orthoptic Eye Patches are designed to address childhood strabismus and amblyopia, commonly known as “lazy eye.” By covering the dominant eye, the patch stimulates the weaker eye to improve its function.

With a hypoallergenic 3M™ Micropore™ Tape backing, Opticlude eye patches are easy to apply and remove, minimizing skin irritation. The pressure-sensitive adhesive ensures the patch stays in place during the treatment period. The non-adherent pad is absorbent, preventing eye secretions from sticking to the skin, while the Micropore tape backing allows the skin to breathe naturally. The lightweight design eliminates the need for shaping, folding, or cutting.
