The Alerta Air Mattress Evacuation Sheet is designed to remain permanently beneath an alternating air mattress, ready for use in safely transporting a user during an evacuation. This sheet is compatible with both Overlay and Replacement air mattress systems.
During an evacuation, the sheet transforms the entire mattress into an evacuation sledge. Its smooth and flexible underside facilitates easy and controlled movement through doorways and down stairs.
This device features a spacious foot protector sheet for enhanced user safety during evacuation, convenient slots for CPR and air tubes to maintain air mattress functionality, and soft materials to ensure continuous pressure relief during regular use.
To evacuate a user, place the foot protector sheet over their feet and lower legs, secure them with straps over the chest and legs while keeping their arms free, disconnect the air tubes from the pump, attach the transport cap, and then move them to safety with two people: one pulling from the foot and another guiding from the head.
