Medipal Alcohol Wipes are scientifically proven to eliminate a wide range of microorganisms, including bacteria and viruses. They have undergone independent testing to meet various European standards (EN), including EN16615.

Medipal Alcohol Disinfectant Wipes utilize isopropyl alcohol, a common disinfectant and antiseptic. Due to its evaporation, it has limited residual activity, resulting in short contact times unless the surface is submerged, and its effectiveness is reduced in the presence of organic material.

Alcohols work best when combined with purified water, aiding in diffusion through cell membranes. A 70% isopropanol solution in water is effective against a broad range of bacteria.
