Granulox is an innovative haemoglobin-based oxygenating spray designed to accelerate healing in chronic and hard-to-heal wounds. When sprayed onto the wound surface, it releases highly purified haemoglobin that captures oxygen from the surrounding air and transports it through the wound exudate directly to the wound bed. This targeted oxygenation addresses the hypoxic conditions that stall healing in chronic wounds, supporting faster tissue repair and improved patient outcomes. The portable spray format integrates easily into existing wound care routines and should be applied at each dressing change, at least every three days. Supplied as a case of 6 canisters.

Applications
Granulox is used across NHS tissue viability clinics, diabetic foot services and community wound care teams for managing chronic wounds including diabetic foot ulcers, venous leg ulcers, arterial and mixed leg ulcers, pressure sores and secondary healing surgical wounds. It is also effective on sloughy and infected wounds where oxygen deprivation at the wound bed is a barrier to healing progression.
