The Spencer Rigid Blue Splint Kit contains five durable, pre-shaped splints for immobilising suspected limb fractures during pre-hospital care. Each splint features a flexible internal structure that conforms to the patient without causing further injury, while self-adhering straps allow rapid, secure fixation. An orange strap on each splint marks the correct attachment point to speed application under pressure. Supplied in a transport and storage bag.

Key Features

  • Five-Splint Set: Covers leg, arm, forearm, wrist, elbow and ankle immobilisation in one kit
  • Self-Adhering Straps: Provide fast, secure limb fixation without additional bandages or tape
  • Orange Attachment Markers: Colour-coded strap zones speed up splinting under emergency conditions
  • Paediatric and Adult Use: Each splint adjusts to suit both child and adult patients
  • IV Access Compatible: Splint design allows paramedics to administer emergency infusions while the limb is immobilised
  • Easy to Clean: Washable at 40 degrees C by removing the inner core, resistant to bacterial contamination

Applications

Used by UK ambulance services, HART teams, air ambulance crews, military medics and emergency department staff. Also suitable for event medical teams, mountain rescue units, sports physiotherapy clinics and workplace first responder kits where rapid limb immobilisation is required.
