Product information Flo-Tone CR is the latest and enhanced version of the Flo-Tone. The Flo-Tone CR has been meticulously designed to offer additional features:

  • Firstly, it is compatible with all pMDIs
  • Secondly, it ensures the guidance whistle reacts at the same flow rate across all pMDIs, regardless of their specific resistance.

It assists patients in developing and maintaining effective inhaler techniques:

  • Functions as a mini-spacer; when attached to an inhaler, it enhances drug delivery and minimizes unwanted oropharyngeal deposition
  • Serves as a training tool for initial familiarization with pMDI technique, transitioning to active medication for regular use.

The integrated whistle, activated during inhalation, provides a clear positive cue to actuate, aiding the patient in recognizing when they have reached the optimal flow rate for effective drug delivery. After actuation, it helps maintain a slow, gentle inhalation to transport the medication into the lungs.

  • Guides the patient in proper pMDI usage (flow rate, coordination, and duration)
  • Enhances inhaler technique
  • Compatible with all pMDIs
  • Built-in controlled resistance (CR) eliminates variability in the pMDIs' internal resistance
  • Ensures full lung dose delivery and reduces throat impact
  • Can function as a mini-spacer; pMDI attachment
  • Can be utilized as a training aid; suitable for use with a placebo pMDI inhaler
  • Features a tethered mouthpiece cap
