The Welch Allyn GS 777 Wall Unit is a wall-mounted diagnostic system that integrates a coaxial ophthalmoscope, diagnostic otoscope and aneroid sphygmomanometer into a single, space-saving installation. Part of the Green Series 777 platform, this unit replaces the legacy 767 Wall Transformer and delivers energy-efficient, always-ready diagnostic capability for GP surgeries, hospital examination rooms and outpatient clinics across the UK.

Key Features

  • Wall-Mounted Design: Frees desk and trolley space while keeping instruments within immediate reach during patient consultations
  • Energy-Efficient Green Series Platform: Reduced power consumption compared to the legacy 767 Transformer
  • No On/Off Switch: Instruments activate automatically when lifted from the handle cradle, reducing cross-contamination touchpoints and speeding up workflow
  • Ergonomic Handle Activation: Handles power on as they are picked up and off when replaced, eliminating fumbling for switches mid-examination
  • Direct 767 Replacement: Compatible mounting pattern allows straightforward upgrade from the older Welch Allyn 767 Wall Transformer

11720 Coaxial Ophthalmoscope

  • Coaxial Optics: Shadow-free spotlight with a wider field of view than standard ophthalmoscopes, providing easier access to undilated pupils
  • Halogen Illumination: Accurate tissue colour rendering for reliable, long-term clinical performance
  • 6 Apertures: Micro (small undilated pupils), Small (fundus through undilated pupil), Large (dilated pupil exam), Fixation (eccentric fixation assessment), Slit (lesion depth evaluation), Cobalt Blue (corneal abrasion detection with fluorescein)
  • 2 Combinable Filters: Red-Free (distinguishes veins, arteries and nerve fibres) and Polarising (reduces corneal reflection)
  • 28 Focusing Lenses: Range from -25 to +40 dioptres, adjustable via the maywheel
  • Rubber Brow Rest: Protects eyeglasses from scratches during use

Aneroid Sphygmomanometer

  • Integrated wall-mounted aneroid gauge for manual blood pressure measurement
  • Positioned alongside the diagnostic instruments for streamlined patient assessment
