The Marsden M-950 is a four-pad weighing system that lets you weigh bed-bound patients without moving them. Slide the low-profile pads under each bed wheel, tare off the bed's weight, and read the patient's weight directly – up to 600kg including the bed. It's the safe, dignified way to monitor weight for immobile, critically ill or bariatric patients.
How does bed weighing work?
Each bed wheel sits on a pad; the indicator adds the four readings and subtracts the tared bed weight to give the patient's weight.
Will the pads fit under my beds?
At 45mm high the pads fit under almost all hospital and care-home beds.
What's the difference from the 1000kg M-950?
This version has a 600kg capacity, which covers most standard and many bariatric beds.
