Podopro Phenol Swab-It applicators are a pre-measured, single-use way to apply phenol during nail matrixectomy (partial or total nail avulsion), the routine procedure for treating recurrent ingrown toenails.
How it works
Each applicator holds a small sealed ampoule of 89% phenol (0.15-0.20ml) with a cotton-tipped swab attached. The ampoule is broken just before use, saturating the tip so phenol can be applied precisely to the nail matrix, with no decanting from a bulk bottle.
