The Blast® Bandage provides a 20" x 20" (50cm x 50cm) treatment area, compacted into a 4" (10cm) combat bandage. The wound pad is sufficiently large to cover the entire back or chest of most individuals with shrapnel injuries or burns.
The Blast® Bandage facilitates swift packaging of traumatic amputations, burns, and penetrating injuries with ease.
The bandage can be effortlessly wrapped around limbs and secured using the attached elastic wrap, featuring “brakes” to prevent accidental unrolling during high-pressure situations. The bandage includes multiple adhesion points to prevent slippage during application (velcro control strips), reducing the risk of wound exposure during movement.
The expansive non-adherent wound pad can be easily wrapped around limbs and provides a substantial sterile protective covering for shrapnel injuries or burns. The Blast® Bandage also features a detachable occlusive layer that covers a 19" (48cm x 48cm) area and can be used to cover abdominal contents, minimizing heat and moisture loss.
