• 1. PERFORMANCE COMPRESSION BAND - reinforced polyester webbing that maximizes compression and application speed. At a true 1.5” width, the material glides smoothly through the Rugged Buckle for easy and effective one-handed and two-handed applications.

• 2. SLACK INDICATOR WEDGE - stitched into the Performance Compression Band below the windlass. The contrasting wedge provides visual confirmation that all excess slack has been removed from the band. This is a crucial step for proper tourniquet application and results in fewer windlass rotations needed to achieve occlusion.
