Spencer CDK Tapered Vacuum Mattress — a rugged, radiolucent patient immobilisation system engineered for safe casualty handling and transport. Its tapered profile conforms closely to the body for superior stabilisation and comfort during rescue, ambulance transfer, and hospital admission.

Built for demanding environments, the mattress integrates nine soft side handles and reinforced Santoprene handgrips at the foot end to maintain a confident hold, even in wet or high-stress scenarios. A reinforced perimeter rope doubles as auxiliary carry points and secure attachment for restraint belts, helping teams move quickly without compromising control.

An on/off valve in chromed brass with a built-in rubber-tube fitting enables fast evacuation and reliable sealing. Temperature-resistant tubing performs in cold or heat, making this vacuum mattress a dependable choice for remote, mountain, industrial, and disaster-response operations. The bright orange exterior enhances scene visibility, while radiotransparency supports preliminary X-ray imaging without removing the patient.

  • Optimised immobilisation: tapered shape moulds to the casualty for stable, comfortable support.
  • Confident handling: nine soft carry handles plus reinforced Santoprene handgrips at the lower end.
  • Perimeter rope: acts as extra handholds and a robust loop for fixation belts.
  • Rescue-ready build: durable, non-absorbent, easy-clean outer; self-extinguishing fabric.
  • Radiolucent: suitable for initial X-ray diagnostics while the patient remains secured.
  • Compact storage: low profile when evacuated for minimal space requirements.
  • High visibility: orange finish for rapid identification on scene.
  • Capacity: up to 150 kg maximum load.
  • Regulatory: Class I Medical Device compliant with EU MDR 2017/745; CE marked.
