The Actimove AluFoam Finger Splint in 1.3cm width is the narrowest option in the range, purpose-built for paediatric patients and smaller adult digits such as the little finger. Each 50cm aluminium strip is lined with high-density foam for gentle cushioning, and can be shaped and trimmed to provide precise immobilisation without bulking out a small digit.

Key Features

  • 1.3cm Width: Narrow profile fits paediatric fingers and slim adult little fingers without overlapping or bunching
  • Mouldable Aluminium Core: Bends and holds shape by hand, conforming closely to small-diameter digits
  • High-Density Foam Padding: Delivers cushioned protection that accommodates changes in swelling during recovery
  • Trimmable 50cm Length: Cut down to size with standard scissors for a precise, waste-free fit
  • Pack of 12: Efficient bulk quantity for clinical environments treating a mix of adult and paediatric patients

Indications

  • Subungual haematoma
  • Nail bed injury
  • Fracture of the distal phalanx
  • Mallet finger condition
  • FDP tendon avulsion
  • Dislocation of the DIP joint

Applications

Commonly stocked in UK paediatric A&E departments, children's wards, and minor injury units where small-digit injuries require appropriately sized splinting. The 1.3cm width is also useful in GP surgeries and school nursing rooms for treating little-finger fractures and dislocations in both children and adults.
