A high-durability spinal access trainer for ultrasound-guided and landmark (blind) lumbar puncture and epidural technique. The synthetic tissue is self-sealing, so it withstands repeated needle passes and keeps replacement costs low for high-volume teaching.

  • Lumbar spine L1–L5 with ligamentum flavum, epidural space, dura and subarachnoid space containing simulated CSF
  • Tissue rated for 1,000+ punctures with 18–21G needles
  • Images on any ultrasound system without unusual settings
  • Upright or lateral decubitus positioning; palpable iliac crests and spinous processes
  • Supports local anaesthetic injection, catheter threading, infusion and manometer measurement
  • Injected fluid drains automatically; CSF refills via quick-fill ports; CSF pressure adjustable
  • Optional thoracic, cervical and obese lumbar inserts available
