The Schuco Boom Arm is a positioning accessory for the Acu-Evac smoke evacuation system. It holds the suction hose and nozzle in a fixed position above or beside the surgical field, freeing the surgeon's hands during electrosurgical and minor operative procedures.
The boom arm clamps directly onto the Acu-Evac unit and extends outward on an articulated joint. Once positioned, it locks in place to keep the nozzle aimed at the plume source without an assistant holding it. The arm can be repositioned mid-procedure with one hand, then re-locked.
Designed for the Schuco Acu-Evac smoke evacuation system only. Not suitable for laser applications — laser smoke evacuation requires a dedicated laser-rated system with appropriate filtration.
