All our controlled drugs cabinets comply with BS2881:1989 (Security Level One), which is the specification for medicine storage cupboards in healthcare facilities. Additionally, our CD cabinets fulfill the requirements of the “Misuse of Drugs (Safe Custody) Regulations 1975” for storing controlled drugs in the UK.
The HECDC1012 controlled drugs cabinet is constructed from 2mm thick mild steel and is equipped with a 6-pin euro profile cylinder lock. This lock meets BS3621 standards and has been tested to comply with BS:EN1303:2005.
