The Schuco Acu-Evac Footswitch provides hands-free ON/OFF control of the Acu-Evac smoke evacuation system during electrosurgical procedures. By keeping activation at floor level, the surgeon maintains both hands on the instrument and patient, improving precision and workflow in minor ops theatres.
This pneumatic foot switch uses air pressure rather than electrical contacts to toggle the Acu-Evac unit. A single press starts evacuation; releasing the pedal stops it. The pneumatic mechanism eliminates the risk of electrical interference near the surgical field and requires no batteries or mains connection at the pedal itself.
