The HeartHero At-Home Defibrillator is a compact, lightweight automated external defibrillator designed to help users respond to a suspected sudden cardiac arrest at home, while travelling or when away from immediate access to a public defibrillator.
Designed for straightforward operation, the HeartHero AED provides clear voice instructions, visual guidance and CPR coaching to support the responder throughout an emergency. The device analyses the casualty’s heart rhythm and only delivers a shock when a shockable rhythm is detected.
HeartHero uses one combined adult and paediatric pad cartridge. A dedicated paediatric button adjusts the device for use with a child, removing the need to locate and connect a separate set of child electrode pads during an emergency.
Weighing approximately 590 g with its pads and batteries installed, HeartHero is considerably smaller and lighter than many traditional defibrillators. Its integrated handle and compact dimensions make it easy to store in the home, carry in a bag or keep readily available when travelling.
The device is designed to operate across a wide temperature range and is resistant to water and dust, making it suitable for use in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments.
The supplied HeartHero electrode pad cartridge is designed for both adult and paediatric use. For an adult casualty, the device delivers an adult energy level of 150 joules. When paediatric mode is selected, the energy level is reduced to 50 joules.
The combined pad system helps simplify emergency preparation because a separate set of paediatric pads is not required. Always follow the voice prompts, diagrams and manufacturer’s Instructions for Use supplied with the device.
Once activated, HeartHero guides the responder through the emergency procedure using spoken instructions and visual indicators. The device explains when to apply the electrode pads, when to stand clear and when to begin or continue CPR.
An integrated CPR metronome provides an audible rhythm to help the responder maintain the recommended compression rate while awaiting the emergency services.

The HeartHero AED may be considered for locations where rapid access to a defibrillator is important, including:
In a suspected cardiac arrest, call 999 immediately and follow the emergency call handler’s instructions. Begin CPR and use the AED as soon as it is available. Do not delay contacting the emergency services while retrieving or preparing the device.
An AED should be used when a person is unresponsive and is not breathing normally. HeartHero analyses the casualty’s heart rhythm and will only deliver a shock when appropriate. Always follow the device prompts and the manufacturer’s Instructions for Use.
Important: This product is an emergency medical device and is not a substitute for professional medical care, emergency services or appropriate CPR and AED training.
