The NHS Ten Second Triage (TST) Slap Band in P3 Green (Delayed) is a single-use casualty identification wristband that enables trained and untrained responders to assign a priority level to walking wounded within seconds during a mass casualty incident. Developed in response to the lessons of the Manchester Arena attack, the TST system allows initial responders on scene to begin prioritising casualties before NHS clinical teams arrive, accelerating the flow of medical attention to those who need it most. The green band indicates Priority 3 (Delayed), meaning the casualty is injured but ambulatory and can wait for treatment.
