The Nonin 2500 PalmSAT is a rugged handheld pulse oximeter built for clinicians who need dependable SpO2 and pulse rate readings on smaller patients. This listing offers the PalmSAT pre-configured with a paediatric, infant or neonatal sensor, so the unit is ready to use on the ward, in the ambulance or in community clinics straight out of the box.

Key features

  • Nonin PureSAT signal processing for accurate readings during motion and low perfusion
  • Choice of reusable 6-series sensor or soft single-patient 7-series Flexi wrap sensor
  • Optional audible alarm model (2500A) with adjustable high and low SpO2 and pulse rate limits
  • Bright LED display with perfusion indicator and pulse-quality bar
  • Around 60 hours of operation from 4 AA batteries, with optional rechargeable NiMH pack
  • 72 hours of trend memory, downloadable to nVision software

Choosing the right sensor

  • Paediatric – small children, finger or toe application
  • Infant – infants from roughly 3 to 20 kg
  • Neonate – newborns, foot or hand application
  • Flexi sensors – soft wrap design for longer monitoring and fragile skin

Ideal for

Paediatric wards, A&E departments, ambulance services, health visitors, GP surgeries and neonatal transport teams who need a reliable, portable oximeter matched to young patients.
