The Olaes Modular Bandage 4" (Flat Packed) is an advanced, multi-function trauma bandage from TacMed Solutions, designed for effective management of moderate to severe bleeding in pre-hospital and tactical environments. It combines a pressure cup, 3 metres of 4-ply gauze, a detachable occlusive sheet, and control strips into one compact, flat-packed unit with a 6-year shelf life.

Key Features

  • Integrated Pressure Cup: Transparent cup targets direct pressure on the wound area and allows visual assessment of bleeding without bandage removal
  • 3 Metres of 4-Ply Gauze: Built-in gauze enables wound packing for severe haemorrhage control directly from the bandage
  • Detachable Occlusive Sheet: Removable plastic sheet behind the trauma pad can be used for chest seal applications
  • Control Strips: Simplify application and secure the bandage in place, even with one-handed use
  • Eye Shield Capability: Pressure cup doubles as a protective eye shield for orbital injuries
  • Compact Flat Pack Design: Minimises storage space in medical kits, IFAK pouches, and first responder bags

Specification

NATO Stock Number (NSN): 6510-01-631-7893. Also available in 6" width.

Applications

Used by military medical teams, ambulance services, police tactical units, and emergency first responders across the UK.
