Presept Disinfectant Granules provide fast-acting, broad-spectrum decontamination of blood and bodily fluid spills across clinical and workplace settings. Containing sodium dichloroisocyanurate (NaDCC) as the active ingredient, these effervescent granules react with moisture in the spill to release chlorine-based disinfectant effective against bacteria, fungi, viruses and bacterial spores. Supplied in a 500g tub for multiple applications.

Key Features

  • NaDCC Active Ingredient: Outperforms traditional hypochlorites, maintaining biocidal efficacy even in the presence of blood and organic matter
  • Broad-Spectrum Action: Effective against bacteria, fungi, viruses and bacterial spores on contact
  • Rapid Decontamination: Apply generously over the spill, allow at least 2 minutes contact time, then remove with a disposable cloth
  • Stable Storage: Compact tub retains full biocidal potency until opened and used
  • Compatible with Select Detergents: Can be used alongside certain cleaning agents for routine decontamination protocols

Applications

Presept Granules are widely used in NHS hospitals, GP surgeries, dental practices, care homes, ambulance services and workplace first aid rooms across the UK. They meet infection control requirements for blood and bodily fluid spill management under COSHH and local trust decontamination policies. Wear disposable gloves during use and dispose of all contaminated waste appropriately.
