Prontosan Wound Irrigation Solution from B. Braun is a ready-to-use rinsing fluid formulated for cleaning, moistening and decontaminating acute and chronic wounds. Its active combination of purified water, betaine (a surfactant) and polyhexanide (an antimicrobial) works to loosen debris, disrupt existing biofilm and help prevent biofilm reformation on the wound surface. This supports faster healing, reduces infection risk and makes dressing changes less painful. Supplied as a case of 24 x 40ml ampoules, each providing a single-use sterile dose for individual wound treatments.
