The Veinlite LEDx Skin Transilluminator is a professional handheld vein visualisation device designed to enhance vein identification for phlebotomy, cannulation, vascular access, and clinical examination. Using advanced dual-colour LED transillumination technology, the LEDx improves vein visibility across a wide range of patient types, including paediatric patients, individuals with darker skin tones, and patients with difficult venous access.
The device is equipped with 32 high-intensity light-emitting diodes arranged in a circular configuration to provide uniform illumination around the target area. Dual LED colours allow clinicians to visualise both superficial and deeper veins with greater clarity. Orange LEDs enhance surface vein contrast, while red LEDs penetrate deeper tissue layers, supporting improved visualisation in challenging clinical scenarios.
