AED Pads and Batteries

Replacement electrode pads and batteries keep your defibrillator rescue ready. We stock adult and paediatric pads and batteries for ZOLL (AED Plus CPR-D-padz, Pedi-padz, CPR Uni-padz for the AED 3 and Stat-padz), HeartSine Samaritan Pad-Pak, Philips HeartStart (HS1, FRx and FR3), Stryker Lifepak (CR2 and 1000), Powerheart G3 and G5, Defibtech Lifeline, iPAD, Mindray, Mediana and FRED.

When to replace pads and batteries

• Replace pads before the expiry date printed on the pack, and always after use, even if no shock was given.
• Replace the battery when the AED status indicator or self-test warns that it is low, or when it reaches the end of its rated life.
• Check the status indicator weekly and the pad and battery expiry dates monthly, and keep a simple log.

Choosing the right pads

Pads are specific to each AED brand and model, so check that the pads match your device before you order. If children may be treated, keep paediatric pads or a child key alongside the AED where your model needs them. Some packs, such as the HeartSine Pad-Pak, combine pads and battery in one unit.
